On April 7, 2018, CMPW PAN employees took part in the 8th All-Poland Scientific and Educational Convention of the Williams' Syndrome Association in Ustroń, attended by families, physicians and therapists. The association represents people suffering from the Williams' Syndrome and their families from all over Poland.

One of the main attractions of the Convention was a chemical workshop for children and teens, conducted by CMPW PAN employees. During the workshop, the carers were able to take part in lectures devoted to the health problems associated with the Williams' Syndrome.
