On 14 October 2013 professor Jerzy Buzek paid a visit to the Center of Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Professor Buzek visited the laboratories of the Center and became acquainted with the works conducted in them.
He is a member of the Honorary Committee of the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the research activities of the Center.
