The meeting continues the tradition of scientific debates in Silesia on polymer materials: International Polymer Seminars (GSP), held biannually from 1995 to 2008, meeting “Polymers on the Odra River” POLYOR 2011 and discussion meetings of the Polish Chemical Society. This time, the meeting, coinciding with the 60 anniversary of the Centre of Polymer and Carbon Materials of the Polish Academy of Sciences, is devoted to progress report on polymeric materials: environmentally friendly polymers from renewable resources, nanostructured polymer systems, polymers for medical applications, nanocomposites.

Like in the past, distinguished international colleagues kindly agreed to deliver lectures. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for younger colleagues to present their results (“rising stars” sessions) and for everybody to exhibit and discuss an unlimited number of poster presentations.

The meeting will be held on 30^th of June and 1^st of July 2014 at Hotel Diament Conference Centre, Zabrze, ul. Cisowa 4. 

The language of the meeting is English.
