During the workshops Mariola Siwy (PhD, Eng) and Magdalena Wójtowicz (M.Sc. Eng.) presented original and striking chemical and physical experiments with the use of special reagents, as well some experiments that may even be performed at home. They also presented the manner of operation of intelligent, thermosensitive polymers produced in the Center, which have shape memory and which are applied in medicine. Apart from the opportunity to see the experiments, the participants also had the chance to do simple chemical and physical experiments on their own, such as colorful whirlpools in milk, escaping black pepper, invisible handwriting or non-Newtonian fluid.
